The standard’s external evaluator
The standard opens its public call today for the external evaluator: the piece that decides every certification and audits the standard itself. It is the house’s strongest demonstration: the Lab submits itself first to the same bar it imposes.
- Academia or assessment body with no link to the Lab.
- Selection through a public call, with verifiable criteria.
- A mandate to audit the standard itself: the 24 criteria, the weights and the process.
- The power to publish its dissents — with no one’s permission.
- A public report at the close of each cohort.
- Decides every certification based on the audit report — including Global Rent, the Lab’s own experimental demonstration.
- May reject. A published rejection is worth more than a given-away certification.
- Appointment is the starting condition: no one is audited, and no one is certified, before the evaluator is appointed.
The decision to certify Global Rent — candidate 0, the Lab’s experimental demonstration — belongs exclusively to the external evaluator. Never to the Lab. Whatever the outcome, it is published.

The call is open from today. The appointment will be announced publicly before the first cohort audit — the starting condition of the process.

Almost no standard in the world answers this question
Who audits the auditor? Of the 28 international models compared in this standard’s research, most do not answer it. MGTA flips the piece: the external evaluator arrives first, decides everything and may publish dissents. The Lab does not decide even its own company’s certification. Pr
